With Pay by Space configuration, each space on the block, lot or garage is individually numbered.  Spaces controlled by the same kiosk can have varying rate structures, allowing you to better control parking in that location.  The motorist must input the space number into the parking kiosk, and make the payment to ensure compliance.  Enforcement staff use wireless devices to check the status of each space.  Time can be extended from other parking kiosks using a pin code found on the original receipt.
