International Nouméa, the capital of New Caledonia, has recently deployed 123 new parking meters to enhance the parking experience for both residents and visitors while streamlining urban parking management.
Towards a More Sustainable and Attractive City
This deployment is part of a broader plan to modernize Nouméa’s urban infrastructure and provide high-quality services to its citizens. It reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to investing in innovative solutions to improve the daily lives of its residents and enhance its appeal as a leading tourist destination.
New Features for Users
The parking meter renewal project is a key initiative to make parking more efficient, user-friendly, and compliant with international quality standards. The new terminals feature a 9.7-inch color touch screen, making information entry easier. In addition to coin payments, users can now pay for their parking via credit card or directly on their smartphones using the Flowbird app. This variety of payment methods offers increased flexibility, keeping pace with the growing trend of digital payment options.
A Lasting Partnership with Our Local Partner
Flowbird has relied on its local partner, Connectic System, to install and commission the parking meters. Connectic System will also be responsible for their maintenance. A trusted partner of Flowbird for many years in New Caledonia, Connectic System contributes to the brand image and success of Flowbird’s projects.
“The feedback has been excellent. The rate of credit card payments reached 30% within the first few days,” said Philippe Pirrone, Managing Director of Connectic System.
